The corners of Virginia’s Historic Triangle mark major events in the story of colonial America. Linked by the scenic 23-mile Colonial Parkway, Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown were important stops on our nation’s journey from the first lasting English settlement to the final battle that secured liberty and independence for the citizens of the new nation. This trip includes five nights accommodations, all transportation provided by The Villages Travel and Tour, breakfast every day, holiday tea at the Williamsburg Inn, Colonial Williamsburg Grand Illumination, Yorktown tour, Jamestown tour, Berkley Plantation tour, dinner at Captain George’s Seafood, lunch at the Gabriel Archer Tavern, wine tasting and tour of Williamsburg Winery.

$1,199 price per person, double occupancy

$1,799 price, single occupancy

Deposit $300 per person due at time of booking.

Final payment due November 6, 2019.

Itinerary:

December 7, 2019: 

 5:45 am – Check-in at Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

 6:00 am – Depart Lake Sumter Landing

 9:00 am – Take a break at rest stop (15 minutes)

12:00 pm – Lunch Break (lunch on your own)

 4:00 pm – Break – rest stop (15 minutes)         (we stop about every 2 hours so you can use the restroom, stretch your legs and possibly grab a snack)                                         

 7:30 - 8:00 pm - Approximate arrival Springhill Suites by Marriott

Dinner and evening on own

December 8:

Breakfast Buffet (Included)

 9:00 – Board bus for Colonial Williamsburg tour

Lunch on your own

 3:00 pm - Holiday Tea at Williamsburg Inn (official reservations not available until August)         

 4:30 pm – Arrive on the Palace Green to reserve a spot for spectacular viewing of the Grand Illumination     

 6:00 pm – Enjoy the Grand Illumination (the official commencement to the holiday season in Colonial Williamsburg).  On this magical night, candles twinkle in the windows of Historic Area homes and buildings, fatwood crackles in street-side cressets.  Be sure to enjoy hot apple cider along the way.

12:15 pm – Lunch at Chowning’s Tavern (lunch purchase on your own)

11:00 pm – Board bus for return to hotel

 1:00 pm – Board bus for Berkley Plantation tour

The Villages Travel and Tour uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors for movies and videos, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule. Hotels are 3-star or better and usually offer breakfast. (This will be stated within the inclusions)

Prices are per person. Rates and space are subject to availability. A minimum of 30 people is required. Specified inclusions i.e. hotels, restaurants, shows, etc. are subject to change. All trips require some walking. Cancellation penalties will apply. Bus driver gratuities are not included.
